Jacob Comer has joined Seward & Kissel LLP as a partner in the firm’s Investment Management practice. He specializes in venture capital formation and transactions. Comer brings extensive experience in fund formation, cross-border fundraising, and complex deal structuring.
His background includes roles as both a legal and investment executive, overseeing regulatory strategy, fund launches, and high-stakes transactions. The managing partner of Seward & Kissel said, “Jacob’s arrival marks an exciting moment of growth in our preeminent Investment Management offering.

Earlier in his career, Comer spent nearly a decade in the investment management group of a large international law firm.
